Have you seen The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore? My husband showed it to me last night, and it was almost like watching Star Wars for the first time. Pretty mind-blowing. Although as much as I enjoyed watching this amazing work, I felt a bit sad thinking that someday this will replace a child's first book. Let's hope it's not too soon...

So I just made my first purchase on The Real Real and am waiting anxiously for delivery. I'm most excited to see the item (of course) and how everything is packaged; it's important to me. Presently, I'm really impressed with Mr. Porter. I won't say what was purchased, you'll just have to see it on me!
If you're not familiar with The Real Real, the always chic Marcy Carmack and team have thought of something quite clever. Think GILT but vintage, Hermes and Louis Vuitton to Balenciaga and Chanel, and up to 90% off retail price. Sound intriguing? Join here.
"Your new closet is ready"... for shoes that is. I like seeing those words but, even better, I love that all shoes are $49.95 at Sole Society. First, take their fun style quiz (Are you bohemian or more classic?) and they will come up with a nicely curated selection of designer quality shoes. No monthly fees, free shipping, and you can cancel at any time. And yes, I did get a pair of lovely summer sandals. Here's how it works...
Love love the idea and convenience of the newly opened Dry Bar on Fillmore. Whether it's date night, girl's night out, or you just want that post-salon look, leave it to the Dry Bar to make your hair look its best. A wash and blowout are only $35. How great is that?
As much as I'm a fan of black moleskin notebooks, I relish any good cover in a highly saturated palette. Black Eiffel featured these notebooks from Kate's Paperie in a stunning array of colors that makes for an impressive display on any desk or bookshelf. My must-get colors are mint and violet. At 5 x 6.75", they are the perfect size for my daughter's constant journaling (she'll want lavendar) and interesting finds on our upcoming summer travel. Add a pen, a personal note, and you have a thoughtful gift for someone special.
