I have never been great at perfectly browning meat but, threw caution to the wind, and attempted Julia Child's Boeuf Bourguignon recipe. Flavors were rich and my husband, kids, and I savored our Valentine's Day supper. The grown-ups especially enjoyed the wine pairing. Towards the end of our meal, my daughter said that she really didn't like the broth but would eat it anyway. What a good sport.
I use thick kraft paper (or shipping paper) for most of my wrapping - gifts, storage, etc... For my dear friend's 40th birthday, I paired kraft paper with black grosgrain and played around with various fonts for her card. I do like the final product.
